Sometimes referred to as the Cape Fuchsia we love it in a raised bed where you can look up into the drooping tubular shaped flowers; cardinal red with yellow innards. Superb against a deep blue summer sky just arrange yourself underneath them. They are fast growing as they layer and send up suckers, so they need a firm hand to restrict them in spring or autumn. But they do offer months and months of colour in the garden. Good at the back of beds or amongst the shrubs. A hardy perennial that will keep some leaves through the winter. Height 90cm and spread 120cm.
