Often grown as a trailing houseplant this Mexican Tradescantia for it’s foliage; it’s great as ground cover too. Attractive leaves are fleshy and striped, silvery metallic and purple, with purple undersides. It will flower in the summer in full sun, simple pink three petal flowers. Plant in full sun on moist fertile soil. It’s only half-hardy, but incredibly easy to root cuttings for the following season. Height 30cm and spread 120cm.
